Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Syringe Filters
G Series

These DORSAN® syringe filters are made from naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It is the most widely used syringe type in the preparation of samples for HPLC analysis. PTFE is a material with a great reputation for its resistance to most acidic, alkaline and solvent products. Chemically and biologically inert, these filters are also highly heat-resistant. In this series, we also offer a version of PTFE syringe filter that has undergone a surface treatment to make it moderately hydrophilic.

Both naturally hydrophobic and treated hydrophilic PTFE syringe filters are apt for a wide range of uses. Designed with FLL/MLS connections, their outer ring makes them more resistant to pressure than syringe filters which have simply been thermowelded externally.
