PTFE-G Syringe Filter

Polytetrafluoroethylene syringe filter resistant to acids, alkalines and solvents with great thermal resistance. Hydrophobic or hydrophilic filter membrane for sample preparation for HPLC analysis and other analysis processes. Available in diameters 14, 13, 25 and 33mm.

PTFE Polytetrafluorethylene Syringe Filters G Series

These DORSAN® syringe filters are made from naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This is the type of membrane most widely used in the preparation of samples for HPLC analysis. PTFE is widely used due to its great resistance to the majority of acid, alkaline and solvent products. Chemically and biologically inert, they also offer great heat resistance. In this series we also offer the version that comes with surface treatment, which offers hydrophilic features.

The PTFE syringe filters have a wide range of applications, both in the natural hydrophobic version as well as the treated hydrophilic version. Designed with F LL/MLS connections, its exterior ring allows better resistance to pressure than syringe filters that have a simple exterior thermo seal.
