Filter Bags Made with 100% synthetic fibers of polypropylene, polyester or monofilament nylon. DORSAN® filter bags only use materials that ensure high, consistent quality and efficiency.
All polypropylene, polyester and nylon materials comply with FDA food contact regulations (Title 21, Part 177.1520). The S-ring bags have a galvanized ring (stainless steel on request) sewn into the mouth. The V-Ring type has a PP mouth sewn or heat-welded using an ultrasonic system.
The process of filtering liquids using filter bags works as a depth filter and is highly recommendable for filtering liquids with a large quantity of solid or gelatinous particles.
In a depth filter, the area available for solids retention is not only the surface of the filter element; particles are also captured throughout the porous layers through which the liquid flows.
